FINALLY GOT THE AUDIO ISSUE WITH MY NEWLY REFORMATTED COM SETTLED! =D
That's like a big achievement for someone like me. I'm practically no good with all the computer stuff. So yeah, there! XD Though i think i merely got lucky this time. It started off with whining to my brother for help which led to him advising me to check dell.com.sg! Smart him. Fumble my way around before finally and randomly finding out the service tag number at the CPU. (i was getting fustrated about not finding the number so i randomly opened the thumbdrive cover and found it unintentionally) Finally, with the smart dell website, they helped to narrow it down to 3 downloads for the sound card driver. My brother did not have any idea which out of the 3 would be the correct one to download so he told me to just download the first one. I downloaded and saved in a program file folder only to find out it cannot be read in it. Re-downloaded so many times but ended up giving up at the end of them.
So, i was complaining to my brother again about the sound problem having downloading problem. Smart him suggested me to check what can open the program but i decided to giv e it one last shot! So, there. i decided to put it on the desktop so that i can delete it easily in case it decides not to cooperate with me again. And, viola! Apparently, it works when you save it on desktop. For some miraculous reasons! (Not interested to find out why though) Totally got lucky with it. Now, my sound finally works! =D =D
